Cheesy Garlicky Chick-Un Bites Skillet

Cook Time: 30 – 35 minutes
Serving Size: 3 – 4
2 Packs Garlicky Chick-Un Bites – Natera Plant Based Foods
1 Cup Cubed Gozzarella – Goat’s Pride Dairy
1 Cup Grated Grananana – Goat’s Pride Dairy
14.5 oz Crushed Tomatoes
1 Tsp Tomato Paste
1.5 cup Marinara Sauce
2 Tbsp Butter Infused Olive Oil – All of Oils
2 Elephant Garlic Cloves – Japonica
1 Tsp Chili Flakes – Avafina Organics
Basil Microgreen – Sky Harvest
Drizzle Olive Oil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Line parchment paper on a baking sheet and place the bites evenly on the sheet. Pre-bake for 20 minutes, then set aside until needed. Keep the oven on 400 degrees.
Peel and mince garlic, set aside. In a medium-large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil, minced garlic, chilli flakes and cook until fragrant. Add crushed tomato, tomato paste, marinara and stir to combine. Turn off heat, stirring occasionally.
Very carefully add the chick-un bites from the baking sheet to the skillet and space evenly. Spread cubed gozzarella and grananana evenly to promote equal melting. Add basil microgreen on top.
Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbling. Remove from oven and garnish with grated grananana, more fresh basil and drizzle of butter infused olive oil! Serve immediately.
This dish is an easy and delicious main meal or appetizer. It’s also great for those who are going meat-free as the Chic-Un Bites are plant-based, but you can’t even tell! Go completely vegan by substituting the cheese portion for dairy-free alternatives! Additionally, serve this over pasta of your choice for a savoury and decadent meal for any occasion.
