Description

Fiddleheads must be BOILED or STEAMED before eaten, should never be eaten RAW! Discard water used for boiling.

Fiddleheads can be used like any green vegetable. They are similar in flavour to spinach or asparagus, but with a nutty undertone.

With a wonderful fresh spring vegetable flavour, fiddleheads can be used as you would any green vegetable and for dipping in sauces. Fiddleheads MUST be boiled or steamed for 10-12 minutes before sautéing, frying or baking. Quick ice bath will prevent overcooking and retain their crisp/crunchy texture.
