Pearl Oyster Mushrooms have a tough stem to them. They are light in colour and look beautiful on a plate with vegetables of deep and rich colour.
Pan fry with half a cup of water and a lid until soft, then add butter and garlic or any other seasoning and fry a little longer without the lid to brown them up a little if you like or pull them out before they start to brown.
Also tough enough to be added to a stew with great results.
