Our lettuce heads are raised in a clean indoor hydroponics system, so no pesticides/sprays are ever used and grown using organic practices with organic seeds (currently in the process of being certified)

Introducing our ultra-fresh living lettuce with grow plugs still attached, harvested every morning for the ultimate in flavor and freshness. Each order includes two lettuce heads and can include any of the following types:

Butterhead lettuce: This soft and delicate lettuce is perfect for salads and sandwiches.

Parris Island [Romaine] Lettuce: Parris Island Romaine lettuce provides good flavor and texture to salad mix. Its dark-colored leaves are thick and have an excellent, crisp texture and the heads are very dense.

Darkness Red Looseleaf: Darkness looseleaf lettuce is a Lolla Rossa type. The incredibly dense, frilly leaves are green with deep, deep red edges. The stiff frills help to separate other leaves in salads as well as adding a lovely red color.
