Being able to be sautéed or stewed for long periods, the lobster mushroom is great for recipes where other mushrooms wouldn’t hold up. Its strong flavour has a hint of the sea. Lobster mushrooms are firm in texture and hold up extremely well to long sautéing, braising or stewing.
When rehydrating, place in warm water for 15-25 minutes and remember to save the flavour infused water for cooking with later. The perfect ingredient to make a nice warming soup or stew.
